The MSc High Risk Pregnancy focuses on education, the advancement of knowledge and research in the field of high-risk pregnancy, as provided by all healthcare professionals.
The aim of the MSc High Risk Pregnancy is to:
- provide education in the field of high-risk pregnancy, which is considered essential for the clinical and laboratory monitoring of pregnancy, as well as for the prevention, diagnosis and management of complications;
- develop specialized human resources in the field of High Risk Pregnancy;
- provide applied knowledge of new technologies in the field;
- promote research at both diagnostic and therapeutic levels.
Upon completion of the Programme, graduates will be able to:
- work in positions requiring a high level of knowledge and skills in the relevant scientific field;
- staff maternity hospitals, gynaecological clinics, fetal medicine units and other healthcare structures in both the public and private sectors;
- acquire the necessary scientific background to continue their studies as doctoral candidates.
